TEMPE - Sept. 29, 2015 - ASU News -  - Tregoney Shepherd, midwife in the production of Wicked, speaks to students about the musical theatre business during a Q&A at the Herberger School of Fine Arts on <br />
tempe campus Sept. 29th, 2015. Shepherd relates experiences working on productions such as Les Miserables as Madame Thenardier and in Phantom of the Opera as the wardrobe mistress/confidante. Shepherd spoke to students about recognizing what kind of character they are and being able to recognize what roles they are likely to receive in their future careers. She also stressed the importance of focusing on one's own abilities and talents than comparing oneself to others auditioning for the same roles. Shepherd received her bachelor degree in Music Theatre, a masters of Music in Apera/Music Theatre and a DMA in Voice Performance. Photo by Deanna Dent/ASU News
